The Boulevard Bundle was created to fill the growing need for a cohesive and playful bundle that compliments the solid-saturated stashes of modern quilters. Inspired by 20th-century architecture, maps, and street art, you’ll feel the nostalgia of midcentury, the minimalist nods to Bauhaus, and the geometric lines of bustling cityscapes. Boulevard is a diverse collection of prints with a sprinkling of balanced PURE Solids that can come together as a full show-stopping quilt but are just as easily divided up and added to other projects. This bundle helps to add an effortlessly modern flair while remaining calm and grounded in neutrals.

While Ashelyn Downs is fairly new to quilting, her sewing experience, pattern writing, and design background have culminated in creating beginner-friendly quilt patterns that represent the styles and the spaces of the people that get to use them. Pulling inspiration from the full evolution of 20th-century architecture, 90’s grunge, street art, travel, and pop culture, she combines minimalist color pallets and artistic concepts in her work, which she hopes will inspire the next generation of quilters so that, when they discover the joy that is quilting, there is an entire subculture corner of the quilting world with their names on it- waiting, with arms wide open.
