For 6 weeks from Jan 15, 2023, Art Gallery Fabrics Sewcialite team will be running a FREE sampler quilt along featuring 10 quilt blocks that take elements from traditional block designs and give it a fresh and renewed look in light of the spring season approaching. This fat quarter bundle friendly sampler is made up of 10 unique quilt blocks that measure 12in square (finished size). Participants are required to make two of the same block but in inverted colours. Thereby by the end of the sampler, there will be a total of 20 quilt blocks made up. You’ll need a 16 piece FQ bundle plus 3 3/4 extra fabric for the background. The quilt version with sashing and the borders is 58″x72″ and the version without sashing and borders is 48″x60″.
The quilt along will operate on a 6-week schedule, starting Jan 15th and ending February 25th, 2024. New quilt blocks by each Art Gallery Fabrics Sewcialite will be released every Monday and Thursday. The 6th (and final week) of the quilt along focuses on assembling the quilt top, basting, quilting and binding.
